Arc Flash Study

Arc-Flash Hazard analysis calculates hazard levels with respect to NFPA-70E and IEEE-1542.  The study determines incident energy levels based on calculated fault current and clearing time for each location of interest.

We provide the analysis, report, then print and ship Arc-Flash Warning labels to you.

Labels are provided with ANSI Orange or Red headers, and meet NFPA-70E 2018 labeling requirements.

Custom label designs are also available.

NOTE:  This service builds on the results of Short Circuit and Protective Device Coordination Studies.  Purchase of these studies is not a prerequisite for existing facilities, but is beneficial and recommended.

Information provided in the report and on arc-flash labels is critical for determining the proper level of PPE (personal protective clothing) for exposure to energized equipment.
